Reiji Shinomiya (篠宮レイジ Shinomiya Reiji) is a main character and a male protagonist in Akiba's Beat. He is a tall 28 year-old youth in glasses who claims to be "searching for someone" in Akihabara and he later joins the group saying that it is for his own benefits.
He carries the title, "The Brilliant Deskbound Introvert" (頭脳明晰なデスクドランカー, "The clearheaded desk drinker").
Etymology[]
- Reiji's surname Shinomiya means "dwarf bamboo" (篠) (shino) and "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya).
